This foundational course is designed for clinicians who are new to facial ultrasound or early in their ultrasound integration journey and want to build a strong, structured understanding of how ultrasound enhances safety, anatomy visualization, and clinical decision-making.

Participants will be introduced to ultrasound fundamentals, including layering concepts, knobology, and core scanning principles, followed by extensive hands-on practice across key facial regions including the jawline, chin, midface, lips, temple, forehead, and nose. The course emphasizes practical anatomy identification, vessel recognition, and spatial awareness in real time.

Instruction also includes ultrasound-guided management of filler complications, ultrasound-guided injection practice using simulation models, and ultrasound evaluation of danger zones for neurotoxin muscle injections. Throughout the day, learners move between brief didactic instruction, live demonstrations, and guided scanning to reinforce technique, pattern recognition, and confidence.

This course provides a comprehensive entry point into facial ultrasound with a strong emphasis on safety, anatomy, and thoughtful clinical application.
